What does “to pick from both ends of the spectrum” mean?
I do online dating. The guy and I want to meet each other. He sent me an e-mail and wrote the following:
“Well I’m not sure where to meet. Maybe a park or a bar to pick from both ends of the spectrum.”
English is a foreign language for me. I usually can speak, read and write English very well, but I have no idea what that means.
What does “to pick from both ends of the spectrum” mean?
I cannot look it up in a dictionary.
he is saying it like the choices are as far apart as possible ….
totally different types of choices
apples and oranges
he would meet anywhere in other words
